Nina Williams, 71, of Colona, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at River Park Healthcare Center, Rock Island.

As Nina wished, she will be cremated and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline, is assisting the family.

Nina was born June 19, 1934, in Clinton, Iowa, daughter of James and Marion Peterson Yealy. She attended Clinton High School and later became a nurse. She graduated from Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing in 1956 and later earned a bachelor of science degree from Saint Francis College in 1989. She went on to become director of nursing at Indian River in Vero Beach, FL.

Survivors include her sons, Brent, Brian, Bruce and Bradley Johnson; and her grandchildren, Veronica, Layne, Brandon and Kiristen.
