Bonnie J. Wiersema
June 13, 1934 - April 12, 2006 BONNIE J. WIERSEMA, 71, of 208 12th Street, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, April
12, 2006, at her home. Bonnie was born June 13, 1934 in Merrill, WI to Calvin J. and Lillian
(Woolley) Tiffany. She was raised by John and Pearl Kent. Bonnie was educated in
Clinton, IA grade schools and was a 1952 graduate of Clinton High School. Bonnie
Kent married Wilbur R. “Bill” Wiersema on July 27, 1952 in Clinton, IA. She was
employed at the Nielsen’s Clearing House in Clinton for 10 years. She was an
avid bowler and bowled in several Fulton, IL and Clinton, IA leagues. She also
participated in several city and state bowling tournaments. Bonnie was a member
of the Women’s Auxiliary in Fulton and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. Survivors include her husband, Bill; two daughters, Deb (Mrs. Alan)
Christopher of Fulton, IL and Denise (Mrs. Gary) Bush of Lyndon, IL; three sons,
Stephen Wiersema of Fulton, IL; Rick (Becki) Wiersema of Lisbon, IA; and Kerry
(Marge) Wiersema of Clinton, IA; fourteen grandchildren, Jennifer (Mrs. Derrick)
Gaiser, Holly Schaver, Brian Wiersema, Leah Wiersema, Emily Wiersema, John
Wiersema, Jenna Wiersema, Robert Smith, Jami (Mrs. Andy) Luett, Brandon
Thompson, Sara Christopher, Lucas Bush, Josh Bush, and Amanda (Mrs. Chad)
Zellers; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Betty (Mrs. Otis) Hoskins of
Port Huron, MI; Carla (Mrs. Whitey) Bogart of Yarmouth, MA; Mrs. Mary Rogn of
King, WI; and June Gardisky of Gurnee, IL; two brothers, Calvin (Lydia) Dixon of
Newman, CA and Ernie (Althea) Tiffany of Tomahawk, WI. She was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Dahn. |
