Christmas greetings from Thailand! It’s been interesting in this overwhelmingly Buddhist area, with temperatures up into the 90’s, to be hearing more Christmas songs in public than you probably are in the US. We are enjoying being here and will enjoy coming back home in a couple of weeks. May the blessings of the presence of Jesus be with you one and all. We love you.

We are visiting our son, who lives here, for the holidays. Dave and his permanent girlfriend Winny have adopted a baby girl who was abandoned in Burma after last year’s terrible typhoon. Little Emma, now a year old, is our new healthy, happy and well-loved grandchild.

Our travel group includes our daughter Jane, son-in-law Simone and granddaughter Sofia. We’ve l been getting lots of massages, eating very well, and so far not getting sunburned in spite of beach time. Thanks to the Internet we’ve been able to pretty much keep up with home – including knowing that Sally dog is being well cared for.

Thanks to Bob for sending these great photos of his trip to Thailand. For those of us trying to survive this winter storm, it is good to see a warm place.
