Grand Excursion On
June 27, 2004 Clinton will participate in the Grand Excursion celebration. There will be two excursion boats docking overnight in
Clinton, the Harriet Bishop and the Anson Nortrup. Excursion trips will be offered by each boat at Clinton and there is
to be day railroad trips available out of Clinton. Passengers from the two ships stopping overnight in Clinton will be
staying at local motels so room availability will be effected. |

Clinton Sesquicentennial Clinton will be celebrating it's
150th birthday during the year of 2005. Plans are being made for events similar to the Centennial celebration of 1955. The
main activities will are scheduled for the week of June 19 to 25 but other events are being scheduled in other months during the
year. As plans progress, I will attempt to keep you advised. |
